GradLaunchAI turns a student's goals into a personalized career roadmap. I founded it in March 2026, reached an MVP in a 24-hour development sprint, and passed 10,000+ cross-platform impressions within two weeks of launch, with 4,000% month-over-month viewership growth and a 1,400% lift in social-to-website conversion.

The core is a conversational intake paired with OpenAI models: students talk or type through their goals, and a career ladder beside the chat rewrites itself as they go. Around it sit Resume Studio (ATS grading, a check of what parsers actually read, and Word and Google Docs export), cover letters, networking tools, and College Apps, an application tracker on the IPEDS catalog with net cost and outcome data and essay coaching that deliberately refuses to ghostwrite. The platform now runs on 188 API routes, all built by me.

The biggest decision so far was a pivot. After 10+ user interviews and consultations with superintendents, it was clear that counselors drive adoption, not individual students. So GradLaunch moved from B2C to B2B2C: multi-tenant rostering, a staff CRM for superintendents, principals, and teachers, caseloads ranked by deadline risk, and contract billing where a district's contract decides access for its schools. Individual students still get Stripe plans with a 14-day trial.

The data also told me what to cut. Grad Games, a gamified practice layer, drove signups but not roadmap completion, so I removed it and moved that build time to the resume and college application tools students kept coming back for. A GradLaunch Chrome extension now brings the product onto job boards: it scores the posting on screen against a student's profile, autofills applications, and captures deadlines from college admissions pages.
